Job Description:
Within the Partnerships team, Imperial Business Partners (IBP) is an exclusive subscription-based industry-academic partnership programme. It offers businesses a gateway to the forefront of science and technology. Through IBP, businesses work with world-leading academics in a broad range of areas and get closer to promising talent, emerging innovation, start-ups, scale-ups, and other businesses. Participants benefit from a range of bespoke activities focused on improving innovation, collaboration, technology, and skills.
This role will support the Imperial Business Partners team in their client engagement activities by enabling efficient and prompt support in delivering bespoke client activities, supporting team processes as well as business development. It will be crucial to the growth of IBP and long-term engagement with Imperial’s corporate industry partners.
Responsibilities:
* Support the provision of excellent membership experience to IBP members and ensure retention.
* Maintain IBP’s excellent reputation and levels of engagement, as well as support IBP growth.
* Support Partnerships marketing and communications activities aimed at current or prospective IBP members.
* Project manage the IBP team administrative tasks in terms of client delivery and internal reporting.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders including external suppliers and relevant business units throughout Imperial.
* Demonstrate ability in a wide range of competencies including relationship management, project and event management, engagement with external stakeholders.
* Experience in varied workload, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for enterprise and industry-academia collaboration.
* Experience of working/responding independently and dealing with unforeseen problems and circumstances.
* Adept at building relationships and leading project teams to deliver effective results, motivating and coordinating the work of staff across numerous teams.
* Take a continuous improvement approach to work, seeking to drive operational efficiencies, improve audience experience, and strengthen understanding of key stakeholders.

This is a fixed term, 12 months contract. The role can also be offered as a secondment to Imperial College employees.
