Are you a skilled ROV Pilot/Technician with a passion for cutting-edge offshore survey work? Our client, a medium sized Scotlandbased consultancy, is seeking an experienced professional to join their established team in Irvine.
About The Client:
This established business provides industry-leading hydrographic, geophysical, oceanographic, and ROV survey services to sectors including offshore renewable energy, utilities, engineering, oil & gas, and defence.
Your Role:
As an ROV Pilot/Technician, youll:
* Safely operate ROVs and assist with their maintenance and repair.
* Perform detailed underwater surveys, including inspecting cables, pipelines, and marine structures, and conducting 3D photogrammetry and seabed mapping.
* Collaborate with survey teams, vessel crews, and workshop staff to deliver accurate, high-quality results.
* Maintain survey data integrity through robust QA processes and produce comprehensive reports.
Key Attributes:
* A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
* A degree or HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Proficiency in operating and maintaining ROV systems such as SeaEye, Outland, and BlueROV, and integrating USBL, DVL, sonar systems, HD cameras, and other advanced sensors.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and technical problem-solving skills.
* UK work eligibility (unfortunately sponsorship is notavailable), a full drivers licence, and computer literacy (Microsoft Office and video editing software).
