Responsibilities:
1. Process supplier invoices in the operating system and external workflows, ensuring they are matched correctly to internal data such as costs and jobs.
2. Query supplier invoices with the relevant departments or supplier and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.
3. Liaise with Purchase Ledger Assistants to ensure necessary invoices are available for payments.
4. Manage direct debit supplier ledgers by ensuring all payments are allocated to the correct invoices in a timely manner.
5. Ensure all deadlines for month-end process are met.
6. Work within set turnaround times and KPI metrics for invoice processing and payment allocations.
7. Provide cover within the Purchase Ledger Team when required.
8. Make recommendations to management on improvements to systems and controls.
9. Assist the Purchase Ledger Manager with any ad hoc duties, including data analysis.
