Art Teacher – Glossop

About the Role:
Start Date: January 2024
Contract: Full-time, fixed-term (maternity cover)
Pay Rate: £162–£251 per day (dependent on pay scale and experience)
Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking Art lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
Support students in developing technical skills in various media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital art.
Encourage critical thinking and self-expression through creative projects and art analysis.
Contribute to whole-school initiatives, such as displays, exhibitions, and community events.
Work closely with the Art Department to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of all learners.
What We’re Looking For:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
A commitment to fostering creativity and confidence in all learners.
Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
