Occupational Health Technician
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £26,325 per annum. This does not include overtime, which can increase earnings up to £33K per annum (calculated on an average of 8–9 hrs overtime per week)
Location: Dundee/Aberdeen area
We’re seeking a Mobile Occupational Health Technician to deliver high-quality health surveillance services to our clients across the Dundee/Aberdeen area.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in promoting workplace health and wellbeing, conducting health assessments, and ensuring our clients receive professional and reliable Occupational Health support. Responsibilities include carrying out health surveillance, drug and alcohol testing, venepuncture, and vaccinations (if trained). You’ll also manage equipment, vehicle logistics, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
This role involves regular travel and occasional overnight stays, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is well-organised, and thrives in a dynamic environment. Whether you’re a Qualified Nurse, an experienced Occupational Health Technician, or have transferable skills from healthcare or sports science backgrounds, this is a great opportunity to develop your career in Occupational Health.

Main Objectives
1. Deliver a competent, professional, and high-quality mobile and static health surveillance service to all clients contracting services from Medigold.
2. Undertake health promotion activities as required.
3. Promote the business of Medigold Occupational Health Consultancy Ltd and act as its representative.
Requirements for this role
* Full clean drivers licence, able to drive and park a mobile unit at home.
* General Nursing qualification or evidence of OH Technician training/experience.
* Flexibility to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when necessary.
* Candidates with transferable skills such as a degree in Sports Science, experienced EMTs, or those with a nursing background will also be considered.
* Employment is subject to a DBS check and the right to work in the UK.
