We are seeking an Operations Director to oversee our organisation’s ongoing operations and procedures during a period of transition. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in operational management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Oversee financial operations, including the management of bank accounts and the coordination of funding initiatives.
* Facilitate the grant application process, ensuring thorough and fair evaluation in collaboration with selection panels.
* Engage with community teams to support events and enhance community engagement efforts.
* Conduct regular meetings with key partners to monitor the progress of projects and initiatives.
* Maintain open lines of communication with the board, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Significant experience in an operational leadership role, preferably within a dynamic organisational setting.
* Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and financial planning.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
* Strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance metrics.
* A collaborative approach to leadership, fostering teamwork and mutual support across different departments.
