The Solar PV Installer will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems on domestic and commercial properties. You will work as part of a small, experienced team delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions across the UK.
Package
* £25,000 - £45,000
* Van (after probation) + fuel + overtime
* Overtime paid at 1.5x
* Core 40 hours per week - average of 7/4pm, subject to change on the needs of the project.

Key Responsibilities
* Install roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar PV systems, including mounting frameworks, panels, and cable runs.
* Carry out DC and AC electrical works, including inverter installation and connection to distribution boards.
* Assist in the commissioning and testing of completed systems in line with MCS and NICEIC standards.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, in accordance with health & safety procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Communicate effectively with clients on-site, maintaining a professional image.
* Complete installation reports, test certificates, and handover documentation accurately.
* Work with project managers and coordinators to ensure timely project delivery.
Key Requirements
* Experience installing solar PV systems (domestic and/or commercial).
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* ECS/CSCS card is essential.
* Working at Height and Manual Handling certifications (preferred but training can be provided).
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Desirable (but not essential):
* 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
* Battery Storage or EV Charger installation experience
* Familiarity with MCS regulations and NICEIC standards
* IPAF or PASMA certification
