My client is a well-established MEICA contractor in the UK Water Industry. They’ve recently been awarded a place on, and given substantial spend for AMP8 on Welsh Water, as a result they’re opening an office in North Wales and are looking for two project managers to join their team. Because it’s a new office there’s opportunity to develop your career as the framework & office grow. Their Welsh Water framework manager joined as a Project Manager just a few years ago. Spend in the office for AMP8 is predicted to be >£100m. Projects are varied, a couple of current examples are pumping station refurbishment works and new build treatment works electrical packages. Typical projects will range anywhere up to £15m. About you- You’ll be a delivery focused Project Manager (or Project Engineer ready to make the step up.) with either an Electrical, Mechanical or Instrument/Control background in either the water industry, or process industries (Oil & Gas, Chemical etc.). OR a construction/civils project manager with substantial experience delivering MEICA projects. Everything is new here, so if you’re feeling stuck, or your company is feeling stale then this is an opportunity to get involved right at the start of a new office for a well-established, people first business
