We are working with a school in Coventry (CV1) seeking support staff to join their EYFS team.
This full-time role involves working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and will begin as soon as a suitable candidate is found, continuing initially through Christmas, with potential for extension for the remainder of the academic year.
The school is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with recent experience in SEN, particularly in supporting children with autism and ADHD.
The School may also have other opportunities for those with experience, who can't commit to full-time work.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 or higher qualification; GCSEs in English and Mathematics; Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or working towards) or equivalent.
* Experience in supporting children’s learning in a primary school setting, with an understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and inclusion policies.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively engage with pupils, parents, and staff.
* Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse pupil needs; demonstrate initiative and independence in supporting learning and development.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND to thrive in their early educational journey.
