SHEQ Administrator Part-Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the SHEQ Team at Lancashire Renewables Ltd as part of a trial job share in the role of
SHEQ Administrator.
Hours of work
* This role is available as a job share opportunity
* You will work 2 days (15 hours) or 3 days (22.5 hours) per week (to be agreed)
* You will have flexibility to choose your working days
* The initial contract will be fixed-term for 6 months, with the potential to become permanent
What you’ll be doing
As a SHEQ Administrator you will play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining the safety, health, environmental, and quality
management systems within the organisation. You will be responsible for assisting in the implementation, administration, and
continuous improvement of SHEQ policies, procedures, and programs. In this role you will have to coordinate, manage documentation,
communicate and collaborate across various departments and external agencies to ensure compliance with company guidelines,
regulatory standards and legislation.
What you will bring
While we provide ongoing training and development opportunities, the following skills and expertise are essential:
* Relevant experience in an administrative role.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation management and data entry.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft office; Microsoft Excel, Word.
* Communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact professionally.
* Solution focused with the ability to implement correct and preventative actions.
* Experience and knowledge of using business systems.
* Organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Who are we?
Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the
Lancashire Waste Contract.
Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual
(black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill.
Our aim is to achieve a sustainable future for Lancashire by providing services to process biodegradable and non-biodegradable
community waste and our people are vital in helping us achieve this.
Our employees work in a variety of operations, maintenance, logistics and support roles across our two sites in Leyland and
Thornton, actively encouraging internal growth through development and training programmes.
