The Sir John Colfox Academy is looking for Casual Supply Teachers to join their fantastic {Team:} team. Could this be you? Actual Salary (M1 to M6) £25.02-£34.47 per hour. This job is a casual post {Full Time/ Part Time/ Part Time - Term Time Only:}. Approximate start date January 2025. We require enthusiastic and flexible cover teachers to assist with the cover of lessons. You will be required to supervise full classes while students continue with work set by a teacher during a short-term absence. Whole days, half days and one-off hours will be available. Qualities required are firmness, fairness and patience, flexibility, good communication skills and the ability to relate to young people Applicants should be literate and numerate with an education standard equating to GCSE Grade C in English and Maths, or equivalent NVQ level 2 or 3, or BTEC in Learning Support. This is a fantastic opportunity for both individuals with lots of experience of working with young people or for anyone who wants to gain experience. This role will enable you to gain a wider range of skills such as group leadership, communication and organisation. The role has the potential to offer further opportunities within the academy over time. If successful there will be an induction and ongoing training process to support you deliver successful cover lessons in the teacher's absence.
