Sourcing Account Manager - Facilities Commodities

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 + Benefits
The role:
You will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services related to facilities management. This role involves strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and organizational policies. The Account Manager will collaborate with various departments to identify needs, streamline procurement processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
You will:
* Provide the primary point of contact for suppliers and manage allocated supplier relationships to ensure that supply of products, services and or material is delivered in accordance with contractual terms and Business need. Manage suppliers invoices anomalies and credits.
* Manage purchase requisitions and Capex in accordance with standard operating procedures and delegated authorities including all sourcing activities, assisting in creation of scope & specifications, carrying out due diligence and managing contract with suppliers.
* Ensure performance against key KPI's
* Roll-out the appropriate Commodity Strategy
* Identify and engage with new suppliers
* Actively work with internal functions
* Research and evaluate new suppliers and technologies.
Your experience:
* Extensive experience managing categories across Facilities portfolio
* Experience within a Manufacturing or similar environment
Your skills:
* Numerate and able to interpret and analyse data
* Commercially aware all Facilities categories (including building construction, H&S regulations, Governmental building regulation)
* Negotiation
* Contract Management & legal clauses
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* SAP
* Sourcing Tools (P2P/Contract/eSourcing)
Education and Qualification:
Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject- Purchasing supply chain, CIPS
