The Role
This role is pivotal to the business and provides an exciting opportunity to really make a difference. They are seeking a friendly, motivated, and experienced FP&A Analyst with a real passion for business intelligence skills such as Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps and be a Business Process Automation (BPA) Champion.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis:
1. Provide valuable data insights and performance analysis to senior stakeholders across the business.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports, including charts, tables, and graphs to enable presentation of data in an effective format.
3. Develop financial modelling templates for use across multiple countries to support robust forward-thinking analysis and decision making.
4. Identify value add areas and support the Head of UK & Ireland Finance with ad hoc projects and deep dives.
5. Support the annual budget and forecasting process.
6. Lead the automation of Board reports and business performance reports to drive accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
7. Evaluate financial and business performance, with trends, variances, and risks and highlight areas for improvement.
8. Work closely with the Commercial and Marketing team to ensure one source of truth across their Financial and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
Process Improvement:
1. Recommend and implement process and reporting improvements through automation solutions and standardisation across the business.
2. Provide guidance and training to Finance team and Central team on finance processes and automation skills, helping to embed a continuous improvement mindset.
3. Be involved in additional projects as they arise.
Stakeholder Management:
1. Support the UK & Ireland finance team through the transition of automation.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business including Finance Business Partners, Head of UK & Ireland Finance, Group Financial Controller, Divisional Directors, Marketing, and other Central teams to identify opportunities to improve data quality, understand performance, and drive growth through data-led analysis.
Skills And Qualifications:
1. Financial background with strong technical skills and knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, such as Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
2. Excellent communication skills with experience of working well with different stakeholders from around the business.
3. Enthusiastic and proactive with a desire to really make a difference.
4. Business Process Automation (BPA) Champion.
5. Attention to detail, with an analytical mindset to organise and interpret data.
6. Experience of embedding robust month-end processes and controls.
7. Experience with financial systems (SAP and Oracle) and CRM systems (HubSpot) is an advantage.
8. Open, honest, and progressive.
