HR & OD Advisor (Grade 7-11 depending upon experience) About the role We are looking for a HR&OD Advisor with experience of dealing with the full range of employee relations casework and who can manage a varied workload. You will support the HR & OD Business Partner in providing a high quality, comprehensive and effective generalist operational human resources service to designated services. You will act as the first point of contact for line managers and staff providing professional advice and support on employment issues. As your skills and experience develop the role will evolve enabling more involvement in complex workforce matters. About the person: You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified with excellent knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation. You will have experience of managing an Employee Relations caseload with the ability to organise and prioritise workload within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly develop credibility and strong relationships with key stakeholders within the allocated service areas are also essential. The role offers a combination of working remotely from home and from the Town Hall or other Council buildings when required. Normal hours of work are 34 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Actual working pattern is negotiable. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
