Northern Ireland Delivery Officer – East

Our client delivers expertise, resources, and vital support to organisations that use physical activity to make a positive impact on young people – and on communities. Through support, resources, and funding – all provided at no cost – they create social impact and lower the barriers that prevent the next generation from realising their full potential. They provide solutions through their team, backed up by a pool of volunteer consultants who offer professional support.
They are now looking for a Delivery Officer to join them on a permanent, part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week over three days.
The Benefits
1. Salary of £26,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience (pro rata)

The Role
As a Delivery Officer, you will engage with, and support, grassroots community organisations across Northern Ireland. Specifically, you will provide vital services that strengthen the capacity of our client’s members, equipping them with the resources, training, and support needed to make a lasting impact on young people. Beyond this, you will cultivate strong relationships with their Northern Ireland Membership, identifying key needs and emerging trends within the network to shape future initiatives.
Additionally, you will:
1. Implement their engagement plan in Northern Ireland to achieve objectives
2. Organise member events to foster engagement
3. Direct members to services, benefits, or external support as needed
4. Keep the membership database and other spreadsheets up to date
5. Support with content creation for Northern Ireland member communications
About You
To be considered as a Delivery Officer, you will need:
1. Experience working with partner organisations and stakeholders to deliver projects and programmes
2. Experience in a client facing support role
3. Experience of database management
4. Knowledge of capacity building practices, including fundraising, strategic planning, and organisational development
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
