You will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of marketing types and customer communications. Working alongside our ticketing provider, web and graphic designers you’ll be required to hone both your creative and sales skills whilst working within our brand guidelines. You will need to have strong copywriting skills and see projects through from concept to completion.
You will manage all aspects of marketing from digital including innovative social media plans (paid and organic), Google Ads and the website alongside printed materials to be used on site and external marketing campaigns and distribution plans.
The railway has an annual programme of special events to suit the different markets we operate in and the co-ordination of these events, including on site leadership of a number is a key part of the role.
The role requires strong communication and project management skills and the ability to produce high quality content for a range of different audiences across a range of media channels. You will be responsible for writing project communication strategies, producing creative content and copywriting, with an emphasis on online and social media, and ensuring these are delivered on time.
The railway engages with external tourism groups, the Press and other external stakeholders, a successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a desire to work within the tourism industry and display an ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
You’ll be required to support the wider Commercial Team with a range of tasks such as the delivery of seasonal marketing campaigns and the creation of brand assets plus more.
