Description:
Willowgate Adventure Centre is currently seeking a highly motivated and appropriately qualified Full Time Seasonal instructor to join us from March - October 2025 in the role of Land and Paddlesports Activity Instructor. The successful candidate will bring a high level of knowledge and play a vital role in the successful operation of a busy outdoor adventure centre.
You will have previous experience in an activity centre/outdoor education setting and demonstrate the right aptitude to follow instruction as well as use good initiative to run a broad range of land and water-based programmes of activities on site as well as away on planned expeditions to the sea or mountains.
Essential and Desirable Qualifications:
* Paddle sport safety and rescue (Essential)
* Paddle sport instructor (Essential)
* Paddle sport leader (Essential)
* Archery (Desirable, in-house training will be given)
* Bushcraft Level 2 (Desirable, in-house training will be given)
* Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Supervisor / Assessor (Desirable)
* Rock Climbing Instructor (Desirable)
* NCC Coasteering Guide (Desirable)
* Mountain Leader (Desirable)
* Lowland Leader (Desirable)
* Mountain Bike Leader Level 2 (Desirable)
All applicants must have a clean UK driving licence and a Level 3 First Aid Course (or be willing to obtain before commencing work).
Remuneration and Benefits: In return for your commitment to this role we offer a salary of £29,000 pro rata with an annual £500 contribution towards continuous professional development, high quality uniform and equipment to get the job done, along with 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) Pro Rata.
