ICT HELPDESK & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

Location- Heathrow 5 days on site (Circa 8.30am -5pm)
Salary - up to £24,000 1 year fixed term contract
ROLE
Fantastic opportunity to join an International company working on their ICT Helpdesk at the Head office near Heathrow You will be supporting a user base of circa 400 alongside a support team in Essex. As a self-starter you can work independently use initiative and be the first point of call at the Heathrow site. Predominantly 1st line but opportunity to develop and progress with the latest technologies
Key responsibilities:
1. Log and manage help desk calls logged ensuring relevant issues are raised with ICT Team
2. Primarily dealing with and helping users within Heathrow office
3. Diagnosing issues and working with the ICT Team to resolve
4. Managing hardware builds for PC and Laptops making sure that they abide with company policy
5. Logging issues (software/hardware) with suppliers and managing calls
6. Working with suppliers to get the best price and managing orders
7. Help ICT Team investigating issues, projects & new technologies
8. Managing corporate Mobile Devices and linking to corporate systems
9. Managing changes to local 3CX phone system
10. Manage local hardware for new starters, plus spare equipment and update asset lists
11. May be needed to work out of hours to help with projects or if there are any issues if required
12. Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior
Minimum Requirements:
13. Microsoft Office
14. Windows Clients
15. Microsoft Windows
16. Microsoft Internet Explorer
17. Anti-Virus & Firewall software
18. Works well either on own and within team
19. Keen to learn new skills and increase knowledge
20. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
21. Worked in a help desk environment for minimum 1 year
22. Must have investigative and problem solving skills
23. Experience setting up hardware (PC/Laptops/Printers)
24. Good organisational skills
