RAF Association is a leading welfare and wellbeing charity supporting over 85,000 RAF personnel, veterans, and their families each year. The Association is committed to ensuring no member of the RAF community faces adversity alone, offering vital welfare and wellbeing services and raising funds for their programs through events. This role will focus on driving the charity's welfare and wellbeing products and services, as well as securing sponsorship for events, directly supporting veterans, serving personnel, and their families.
About the role
As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in building lasting relationships with corporate partners and high-net-worth individuals to secure funding for the Association's mission. Working closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Events, you will manage and nurture existing partnerships while actively identifying and securing new opportunities to drive growth and impact. You will also work closely with the Events Manager to create networking opportunities.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver the corporate and major giving program in partnership with the Head of Corporate Partnerships.
2. Achieve personal income targets by developing partnerships, including donations, sponsorships, and cause-related marketing.
3. Cultivate strong relationships with existing and new corporate partners, maximizing opportunities for income and engagement.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to identify new funding opportunities and report on services and events.
5. Secure new partnerships through networking, outreach, and building relationships with businesses and individuals.
6. Ensure all corporate and major donor fundraising complies with relevant governance and best practices.
7. Represent the RAF Association at key events and act as an ambassador.
8. Experience in corporate partnerships, major giving, or high-net-worth fundraising.
9. Excellent relationship-building skills with a proven track record of securing and managing partnerships.
10. Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities for growth.
11. Strong writing and communication skills, including creating pitches, reports, and impact statements.
12. Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
13. Most importantly, passionate about supporting the RAF Association's cause and making a difference.
