Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner within the justice sector to partner with the Business Directors and implement business-specific people strategies including compensation and benefits, recruitment, engagement, and development in line with the Centres of Excellence.
You should be capable of designing professional and commercial people solutions. In the event of escalated cases, you will provide counsel to the business regarding the best approach. You will also work with the wider HR community to ensure people policies, initiatives, and procedures are fit for purpose and meet the medium/long-term needs of the business.
You will partner with key stakeholders to gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the financial and commercial aspects of contracts, contract performance against targets to inform the People Plan priorities. Additionally, you will actively monitor data on labour costs, employment relations, and sickness absence to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities, agreeing relevant action plans with Business Directors.
The ideal candidate will have a CIPD qualification and experience of managing and driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced, complex environment. A broad experience in all aspects of HR Business Partnering, including reward, employee relations, talent, succession planning, restructuring, and leadership, is essential.
Experience in using a range of techniques to support training and development activities, selection, and compensation and benefits is required (e.g., TNA, psychometrics, salary surveys). A clean driving licence is also necessary.
