Interim Part Time Management Accountant (Urgent!) - Plymouth / Hybrid - £: Negotiable DOE
Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by one of the most recognisable hospitality organisations in Plymouth, a landmark that is steeped in history and a highly sought after employer in the city. The organisation urgently seeks to recruit a Management Accountant to cover a period of employee absence. The contract duration will be up to 12 months and the role is offered on a part-time arrangement of 4 days per week with full flexibility in days worked and general patterns. There is some scope for hybrid remote working once the successful candidate is up to speed with the organisation’s systems.
Working as part of a small, friendly finance function and reporting to a highly experienced Head of Finance, the contract will carry the following responsibilities:
1. Production of accurate monthly management accounts
2. Project analysis and costing
3. Bank reconciliations
4. Assist with all month end procedures to tight deadlines
5. Assisting budgeting and business planning
6. Assist in preparing for annual audit
7. Potential assistance with accounting systems upgrade
Our client is more focused on relevant experience and the ability to “hit the ground running” than they are on the status of qualification and subsequently invites candidates that are either part/fully qualified AAT/CIMA/ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience. Salary will be determined on relevant experience. The business uses MS Access Dimension, and previous experience of this system would be advantageous, though not essential.
