The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Employee Relations (ER) and the confidence to manage their own caseload independently. As a People Advisor, you will be based in our Eccles office, reporting to the People Partner - Support Centres, and working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We offer a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home per week, following the successful completion of the probationary period, subject to business needs. You will be responsible for Providing practical, balanced ER advice, coaching, and support to managers and colleagues across operations and sales teams on a wide range of employment matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, family-friendly policies, and absence-related issues. Partnering with Line Managers and the recruitment team to coordinate recruitment activities. Delivering face-to-face and remote support across the business as required. Building strong working relationships with both the immediate and wider People team, as well as key internal stakeholders. You will need Minimum of two years' experience in an Employee Relations (ER) role. Up-to-date knowledge of employment law with experience handling a full range of ER issues. CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confidence in coaching and advising managers at all levels, with the ability to make legally and commercially sound decisions to mitigate business risk. Strong organisational and administration skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively. Proficiency in IT systems, including Word, Excel, and preferably SAP. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with the flexibility to reprioritise when needed. A proactive and adaptable approach to work, embracing change as required. A curious mindset with a desire to learn and develop. Problem-solving skills with the ability to constructively challenge when necessary.
