Full-time Accounts Team Leader in Nottingham

Responsibilities to include:
1. Day-to-day management of all personnel within the cashier team
2. Approval and monitoring of e-days for all employee absence requests
3. Approval of Ebis expenses
4. Training of all new starters
5. Monthly reporting of cashier figures
6. Organising and sending out the weekly team rota and approval schedule
7. Ensure all resources are managed effectively regarding cover within the team
8. Daily processing of receipts through to bank reconciliations
9. Investigation of all outstanding cash received and out-of-date cheques
10. Investigation of differences on bank reconciliations
11. Approval of bank reconciliations
12. Confirm Alias acceptance for all payments received in different names
13. Ensure team targets are met and high performance is maintained
14. Ensure that all backlogs are communicated and managed with minimal disruption to service and perception
15. Provide support and problem-solving for the team
16. Arrange monthly meetings with the team
17. Carrying out the 1st approval for Natwest banking
18. Completing the staff on-boarding and off-boarding process
19. Ad hoc cashiering duties
Your Qualities:
1. High level of professionalism with the ability to inspire employees, internal and external stakeholders to comprehend and follow the Business Ethos.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills displaying a mature attitude in all verbal and written communications.
3. Portrays confidence and enthusiasm, is organised, flexible and conspicuously reliable.
4. Strong and influential leadership skills that follow a 'can-do' approach with the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels.
5. Highly self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work under own initiative, takes ownership of responsibilities and drives positive change.
6. Meticulous attention to detail, high level of accuracy and numeracy accompanying no less than 5 years of Cashiering/Sales Ledger experience.
7. Team player and leader, with experience in managing projects and delivering to deadlines.
8. Ability to work under pressure, efficiently and in a timely manner together with excellent decision-making capabilities.
9. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, including intermediate excel skills (v-lookups and Pivot Tables). Very confident. Intermediate. SUMIFS
10. Minimum of 2 years Supervisory Cashiering/Sales Ledger experience.
11. Awareness of general accounting procedures, regulatory standards & compliance requirements.
12. Formal qualification: AAT or equivalent an advantage.
