Our FMCG client, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Order Processor and Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. This role will involve a combination of administrative and financial duties, ensuring smooth operations and efficient financial management. Finance Credit control Validate customer remittance and align UK credit control with international H/O. Invoice payment resolution disputes. Generation of Invoices, Pro Forma and Credit notes. Regularly provide statements to customers Handling of customer debits. Sales Administration First point of contact for customer enquiries. Initiate new customers internally. Processing all sales orders. Liaise with 3rd Party warehouse providers ensuring stock systems are aligned and orders shipped. Customer problem solving and issue resolution. Cover workload when UK colleagues are absent. General Administration Manage internal approval process of customer/supplier invoices. Internal ordering office stationary. Uploading all financial documentation to H/O. Skills Strong PC skills and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to work to tight deadlines. Previous experience working in FMCG food retail is an advantage. Understanding/experience working with warehousing and ERP systems i.e. Microsoft Dynamics & EDI desirable. Strong communication skills and effective with colleagues/customers. Strong attention to detail i.e. analytical mindset. Works well in a team and independently.
