Role Overview: As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school premises. You will be responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and security of the school buildings and grounds, contributing to the safety and well-being of the students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting daily inspections of the premises to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
2. Overseeing the cleaning and upkeep of the school buildings, including classrooms, offices, and common areas.
3. Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks, or coordinating with external contractors as needed.
4. Managing security procedures, including locking and unlocking buildings, monitoring CCTV systems, and responding to alarms or security concerns.
5. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and health and safety inspections.
6. Assisting with facilities-related projects and renovations as directed by school leadership.
7. Providing support during special events or emergencies, such as snow removal or building evacuations.
Requirements:
8. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
9. Strong practical skills in maintenance, repairs, and facilities management.
10. Excellent organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
11. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, contractors, and external stakeholders.
12. A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of others.
13. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to school environments.
