Remuneration: £42,000 - £45,000 neg + uncapped commission giving OTE £65,000 - £80,000+

Role Overview:
The role of the Business Development Manager - Structural Insulated Panels will involve:
1. Field sales position selling a high-quality manufactured range of structural insulated panels.
2. Focusing on selling to medium housebuilders, developers, and smaller self-builders.
3. Targeting self-build / small developer projects such as Grand Designs.
4. Generating specifications and following projects through to completion with contractors and developers.
5. Typical project sizes would be 10-60 residential houses.
6. Average order values can range from £40k-£400k depending on the project.
7. Expected to generate a territory turnover of £250k per month.
8. Majority of time focused on generating new business relationships.
9. Covering an area incorporating the UK with a focus on projects in the South of England.
Ideal Applicant:
The ideal applicant will have:
1. Construction sales experience selling off-site manufacturing solutions, modular build, timber frame systems, or structural roofing systems/insulated panels.
2. Consideration for other product-related backgrounds with the right route to market.
3. Experience selling to housebuilders, developers, and smaller residential self-builders.
4. Specification/contractors selling experience is ideal.
5. In-depth knowledge of structural systems used in house design/building.
6. Strong presentation and communication skills.
7. Tenacious, self-motivated, intelligent, and a strong focus on customer service.
