We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our cutting-edge imaging service. This post is a joint post aimed to support the imaging network across Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole (NLAG) NHS Trusts. The post will attract 10 PA’s – with 2 OPD, 2 imaging sessions at Castle Hill Hospital (HUTH), and 2 imaging sessions at NLAG. In addition, there will be 8 weeks per year working as consultant cardiologist of the week (for general cardiology) covering in-patient care at either HUTH or NLAG.
We are looking to expand the provision of imaging both in HUTH as well as nuclear perfusion and stress ECHO scans performed in NLAG. With the growth of cardiac imaging, the demands on this aspect of the service are expanding rapidly. We would expect the successful candidate will be able to offer significant expertise in at least one area of advanced cardiac imaging: MRI, cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology. The department would encourage the development of at least one additional area of expertise and provide dedicated time for training and mentorship if that were required.
