This is a permanent, fulltime post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 5 over 7 and includes weekend working (at QEUH) and participation on public holidays.
NHS GGC Pharmacy Services, Preparative Services are seeking an enthusiastic higher level Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at the West of Scotland Cancer Centre .The Pharmacy department is housed in the West of Scotland Cancer Centre and provides oral and intravenous chemotherapy to patients both in the north of the city of Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
The main duties of this post will consist of contributing to the day to day running of the Pharmacy department and to undertake routine technical activities within the aseptic unit, pre-filled chemotherapy section and the dispensary. Participate in clinical rotation once established.
You will have SVQ level 3 or NVQ level 3 qualifications or Professional Development Award (PDA) in Pharmacy Services at SCQF Level 7 and Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Pharmacy Services at SCQF Level 8 and a qualifying period of work experience. equivalent and hold a checking qualification (FACPT dispensary or aseptic) and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
