Job summary
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is looking for a proactive individual who thrives on challenges and enjoys teamwork. The role sits within the Gwent Regional Partnership Board Support Team, where you will play a pivotal role in developing a robust performance and information function. In this role, you will harness your analytical and technical expertise to analyse, interpret, and present complex data, aiding key decision-making processes. You'll take the lead in collating, aggregating, and visualising project data, developing methods and processes to efficiently gather information from a broad project portfolio. We are excited to welcome a new member to our team who will enhance our reporting function, ultimately benefiting our stakeholders and individuals throughout the region.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
Data Analysis & Reporting: Define, collate, analyse, and interpret complex data from various sources. Create and maintain performance dashboards and employ statistical packages to support reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders and the team, presenting information and findings in meetings and reports, where required.
Information Management: Develop and manage analytical information systems and reporting processes to meet stakeholder's needs. Ensure compliance with data protection and information security standards.
Training & Development: Provide training in analytics and support the development of self-service skills among multi-disciplinary staff.

Qualification and Knowledge

1. Educated to degree level plus post graduate diploma in a quantitative science which has included data analysis/presentation and management of large datasets or equivalent knowledge acquire through experience and further training and development.
Experience

2. Significant experience within an information and data environment
3. Business analysis of data and project implementation including performance outputs ( dashboards)
4. Operational research experience including quantitative and qualitative data
5. Experience in partnership working across different organisations
