In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality. This post is one day a week at HMP YOI Thorn Cross Hours- 7.5 hours for one day This position is one day a week, you'll receive an annual salary up to £55,996 per annum - depending on experience. What you'll be doing As a Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber your responsibilities will vary. You will Undertake Clinical Nursing Practice at an advanced level using expert knowledge and clinical skills Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues Carry out comprehensive assessments, while initiating and reviewing individual recovery plans Deliver a range of treatment options including clinical and psychosocial interventions in both a group and 1-1 setting Provide treatment as required, including prescribing medication, within their sphere of competence To carry out comprehensive assessments of patients looked after If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning. Qualifications & Experience required Registered professional with current active registration (NMC, GPHC, HCPC) Non-medical prescribing qualification Understanding and knowledge of policy developments related to the delivery Knowledge of national standards that inform practice (eg National Service Frameworks, NICE guidelines etc) Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
