About the role
We are looking for a visionary leader to join Haringey’s Adult Social Services as the Head of Integrated Care. This pivotal role focuses on the Out of Hospital and Integrated Care Programme, blending expertise from both Haringey Council and Haringey Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). As Head of Integrated Care, you will oversee a range of projects and services designed to enhance access, independence, and intermediate care in the community, ultimately aiming to deliver cohesive, timely support for residents.
You will manage strategic and operational functions across several teams, and work with key stakeholders to integrate services that align with the Council’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the strategic and operational objectives for integrated and out-of-hospital care, ensuring alignment with Haringey’s health and social care priorities.
* Develop and maintain effective partnerships across key organisations to foster collaboration and innovation.
* Implement intermediate care services in alignment with national best practices.
* Oversee a team of managers and staff who support and deliver integrated care objectives.
* Provide clear, impactful presentations and reporting to senior management, board-level groups, and key stakeholders.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
* A master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field and comprehensive knowledge of social and healthcare integration.
* Extensive leadership experience in social care or health, with a strong background in project management and cross-organisational collaboration.
* Proven experience in driving organisational change, strategic planning, and delivering service excellence.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders and present complex information effectively.
* The ability to anticipate, identify, and solve complex issues quickly and independently.
