Job Description
Checkout.com is actively looking for a proactive and driven Manager, Deal Management to assist with our rapid expansion.
Working alongside our Commercial team, you will have the opportunity to gain insight into the complete sales journey, collaborate with various teams and gain solid expertise in our industry.
The ideal incumbent is an independent, high-achieving individual, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be able to create structure and provide guidance to their team through a constantly changing landscape of priorities and projects. They should be a self-starter and capable of finding and prioritising the right work for themselves and their team.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Overseeing a team of Deal Managers, ensuring that we are allocating those resources against the highest value and most impactful deals and projects
* Working closely with Legal, Underwriting, Risk, Compliance and Commercial to ensure we are executing to the highest standard on deals in onboarding and also that we have the best designed processes and ways of working across those teams in Europe
* Ensuring we keep a customer first mindset to our processes across departments
* Leading stakeholder management, forging strong relationships and talking straight
* Staying abreast of best practices, key business insights, and industry trends
* Developing and keeping up to date data and guides to help the Commercial Team and to ensure required documents are properly constructed
* Managing sales tracking tools and providing reports
* Building a strong team culture that embodies our Operating Principles
Qualifications
About You:
* Fluency in English
* Proven track record of delivering high quality individual contributor work and leadership in finance, payments or tech role
* A leader that puts their team first, supporting and coaching them to get better every day
* A strategic problem solver with excellent project management skills
* Tech‑savvy, with a real passion for Technology
* Quick learner to grasp Checkout.com’s product and value proposition
* Ability to manage complex projects and multi‑task
* Aptitude to shift tasks and priorities as and when the circumstances change
* Confident, concise, and direct communicator
* Previous experience with Salesforce will be an advantage
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
