The successful candidate willwork as part of theThames Valley and Surrey (TVS) Secure Data Environment (SDE) ProgrammeandtheTVS Care RecordsPartnershipProgramme, andbe hosted by the R&D Clinical Informatics Team within OUH.They will be accountable tothe Programme Director/SRO respectivelyandhave day to day accountabilityto theprogrammes’ Coproduction Lead.
They will manage communication and engagement for data programmes across care records and research in the Thames Valley and Surrey,and feed into related national work. The programmes will support thesuccessful candidatethrough regular joint meetingsto managea collaborative approachto communication and engagement across TVS.
Thejointdatacommunication and engagement lead will have significant impact on the success ofthese dataprogrammes. Working with colleagues across the health and care system,subject matter experts,researchand industry they will have the satisfaction of seeing their work lead to progress in the waypatient datais used in the NHS: improving patient care and supportingunderstanding population health andcutting-edgeresearch.
The successful candidate will lead on the continued development, delivery and implementation of our communication and engagement strategies. Thiswill involveworking closely with colleagues across the region,and nationally,to scope, prioritise, and deliver. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in working with diverse stakeholders,alongsideinterdisciplinary and cross-sector teams. They willbe responsible forboth internal and external communications, stakeholder management, media management,PRand liaison with key stakeholders.
The ecosystem they will work within is complex, spanning many organisations and sectors. Managing this complexity with be both a challenge and rewardingcomponentof the post.
