We are working with an existing client who is looking for a graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Graduate Quantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, tender documents, interim valuations of the construction.
2. Variations and Measurements.
3. Cost Control.
4. Cost reporting.
5. Liaise with all Internal teams.
6. Attend project meetings.
7. Assist with procurement.
8. Final Accounts.
9. Provide support in cost management and financial reporting.
10. Attend meetings to provide QS input.
11. Review project progress and present project data as appropriate.
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Must Have/Be:
1. Degree in Quantity Surveying.
2. Relevant IT Skills.
3. Excellent oral communication and written skills.
4. A good knowledge of Maths.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
7. Confident, articulate, and a critical thinker.
8. Ability to work to deadlines.
9. Willing to undertake training and development when needed.
