Senior Implementation Engineer – Kent – Work from home options - £55-£65k + Career development
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading business in Kent for a Senior Implementation Engineer. As the Senior Engineer, you will be required to provide project implementation services to all of the company’s clients.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. To provide project implementation services to the company’s clients.
2. Encourage and promote the company’s services and capabilities.
3. Provide a quality customer focused approach ensuring work is carried out accurately and to the specified standards, with a smooth delivery.
4. Work closely with the Resource Manager in line with the Resource Management Process.
5. Creation of work packages for delivery and working closely with the resource manager for scheduling.
6. To be responsible for high quality, customer centric communication throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Joint responsibility for the transition of projects from the technical solutions team into the implementation phase.
8. Joint responsibility for the transition of projects from the implementation phase to business as usual including defining and the delivery of comprehensive technical documentation.
9. Responsible for Project Management for all implementations.
10. Securing customer sign off at the end of an implementation or project.
11. Participate in lessons learned activities providing valuable feedback to the technical solutions team including the maintenance of the company’s technical standards.
12. To be a technical stakeholder supporting the Project Manager or Account Manager in customer meetings.
13. Provide technical leadership, support and mentoring to the junior members of the team.

4. Microsoft Windows 7 to Windows 10.
5. Microsoft Windows Server 2008 to 2019.
6. Microsoft Office 2003 to 2016.
7. Microsoft Exchange 2003 to 2016.
8. Microsoft Office 365; Exchange On-line – EMS and Teams.
9. Microsoft Azure Platform Virtual Machine Hosting.
10. Virtualisation Software, VM Ware and Hyper-V.
11. Email, Web and Cloud App Security Filtering Services.
12. AntiVirus Services.

Package:
£55,000-£65,000 depending on skills and experience.
25 days holiday entitlement + 8 bank holidays. Entitlement increases by 1 additional day with every 5 completed years of service.
