Description Due to an increase to the Wincanton scope of work a vacancy has arisen for a Materials Coordinator to cover activity across our operation at Bridgwater Junction 24 Asset Warehouse. This is a key role that will be central to the successful delivery of the contract where Wincanton are providing warehousing and transport services for equipment for a major Construction Project. This post holder will be required to establish and maintain strong working relationships with individuals and groups both within NNB (project managers, expeditors, quality leads and the construction team) as well as external construction contractors and HPC’s commercial Logistics and Supply Chain partners. Salary £30-34,000 pa (DOE) Principal accountabilities include: Ensuring the safe and effective delivery of inventory management for HPC assets in line with industry standards. Ensuring the management of inventory operation management activities for assurance of the materials and equipment. Ensuring that the inventory management process meets nuclear, environmental, and industrial safety regulatory requirements. Supporting the contract management of the storage and warehouse operations contract. Promoting the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency. Assist in the development and execution of effective strategies and plans in line with the overall programme. Contributing to the development of inventory operation management governance arrangements to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, project commitments and company policies. Assisting in the preparation of monthly performance reports, project forecasting and forward planning. Assisting other members of the Wincanton and NNB Site Operations EMM Integrated Team as and when required. Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience Essential Significant experience of working within the inventory operations management field. Substantial warehousing experience including receipt and despatch and stock management of goods. Experience of working in a high security environment. Ability to plan, develop and deliver strategies, processes, and plans. Willingness to learn from both successes and failures. Excellent communication skills and experience of positive stakeholder engagement (internally and externally). Intellectual capacity to deal with complex issues. Team player – able work within our local supply chain vision, creating a integrated team ethos. Desirable Track record of successful major project delivery in a management role.
