An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate Skills Coach to join one of the UK’s largest providers of Apprenticeships and recruitment and training services to the automotive industry. This is a home-based role with travel required to cover the South East region such as Essex, Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire, and Hertfordshire, so we would welcome applications from candidates in and around any of these locations.

About the Role
As a Skills Coach, you will work with learners pursuing level 2-5 apprenticeship standards in areas such as heavy vehicle, light vehicle, MET, and body and paint. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Recruitment of new learners
2. Completing Functional Skills with learners as required
3. EPA preparation
4. Conducting workplace inductions for new learners
5. Visiting learners at their workplace or conducting remote assessments via recorded sessions using Microsoft Teams
6. Carrying out workplace reviews and assessments, gathering evidence, assessing progress, and updating learner records
7. Completing 28-day active learning sessions and 12-week reviews for each learner
8. Monitoring Health and Safety at workplaces and vetting employers for adequate facilities and insurance
9. Contributing to monthly meetings
10. Monitoring review and assessment consistency across multiple site contracts
11. Coordinating with line managers on training activities
12. Liaising with employers
13. Providing Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to learners
About You
To succeed as a Skills Coach, you should have:

* Experience in Light and Heavy Vehicle sectors is advantageous

Desired Qualifications
* D or A Units Assessor qualification (desired or willing to undertake)

* Confidence in dealing with learners, parents, employers, and awarding bodies
* Knowledge of Awarding Body requirements and end point assessment processes
About the Rewards
The role offers working hours from 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with an annual salary of £28,000 - £30,000 plus benefits including:
* Car Allowance of £5,200 per annum (£433.33 per month)
* Home-based with travel across England
* 25 days of annual leave, including 3 days for Christmas shutdown
