McCausland Group are seeking an individual to fulfil the role of Marketing and Communications Manager.
In undertaking this role, you will be responsible for the management, coordination, development and delivery of web, digital, communications & marketing campaign plans, working across the organisation promoting the three operational businesses both B2C and B2B. You will be responsible for management and delivery of the tactical marketing and advertising activity. Your work will involve the planning and implementation of the wide range of marketing activity promoting the group in line with objectives as set out in the individual companies’ annual Business Plans, operational plans and strategies. This role will be primarily Monday – Friday 09:00 to 17:30 but may require you to work out of normal office hours.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
1. To work with the Company Directors to coordinate and implement The Groups’ corporate planning process across the marketing and communications department including assisting and co-ordinating the development of the department’s annual business and marketing plans and identifying monitoring performance KPI’s against agreed plans.
2. Reporting to the Company Directors to develop, co-ordinate & oversee the group’s marketing and communications plans and related marketing & digital activity to market the operational businesses individually.
3. Working with the Company Directors and across the organisation to identify, develop and co-ordinate marketing promotional activity.
4. To co-ordinate and oversee research and monitoring of all marketing and promotional activity and identify new measurements and methods.
5. To oversee the management and co-ordination of the businesses’ web presence, digital and online marketing activity and operating business websites and social media channels.
6. To support the Company Directors in the coordination & implementation of the groups’ PR & digital communications plan including press & online activities.
7. To represent The Group at events and meetings on an ongoing basis and to deliver presentations and updates as required.
8. Reporting to the Managing Director to oversee and manage the allocated budgets as assigned to each project, requiring constant monitoring of income and expenditure against budget management and department reporting processes.
9. To support the Company Directors in developing and securing new business contracts and tenders & to assist in managing strategic relationships.
10. Drive innovation and strengthen approach to brand deployment, creative design, digital marketing and strategy.
11. Reporting to the Director to be responsible for the planning, organisation and control of a schedule of agreed digital and content marketing activities and outputs to ensure the achievement of set marketing objectives.
12. To support the Company Directors in identifying new commercial opportunities and to initiate and develop projects and programmes to generate income and revenue for the organisation’s sales & marketing activity.
13. To represent the Company as required, and to ensure appropriate representation at in-house and external meetings and consumer facing events selling the group’s products and services.
Other:
1. Attend meetings and events on behalf of the group.
2. Clean driving license and access to a car for work purposes is desirable.
3. To undertake any other duties as required by McCausland Group of Companies.
Essential criteria:
1. Degree level qualification or equivalent.
2. 3 years experience in similar position.
3. Confident presentation skills.
4. Fully proficient in Microsoft packages.
5. Must be available to work outside normal working hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
