Job Description:
Our Broughton based team guarantees the traceability, quality, safety and airworthiness of all supplied, sub-contracted and manufactured products and services to both our internal and external customers for Airbus Commercial Wings. As an Intern within our department, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the vital role of the Quality function in the Airbus production system and be responsible for delivering your own tasks/projects.
What you will be doing:
* Carrying out investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality issues supporting operational teams across multiple Airbus sites.
* Ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken by the accountable department by working as part of multifunctional teams in line with Quality rules and standards.
* Delivering changes, best practices, synergies and promoting business excellence by working with the Quality transnational teams to deploy harmonised processes.
* Familiarisation with digital tools including Google Suite and big data tools to analyse non-conformance data in order to support non-conformance reduction.
* Opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of our wing product working as part of one of our lineside teams.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore, it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
* Passion about Airbus and the aviation industry.
* Proficient oral and written communication skills.
* Collaborates well within a team.
* Ability to adapt quickly.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR you will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
