About the role:
We're on the lookout for the best 2nd Line IT Support Engineer in the Hampshire area to join our client, a small IT MSP during an exciting phase of growth.

We are looking for a capable IT Support Engineer or Analyst who is strong with the Microsoft stack (including Azure) and ideally has had exposure to Networking, Telecoms (VoIP), Connectivity (broadband, leased lines), Deployments, etc.
The role will be based in their Bordon offices with some remote flexibility.
Whilst the role will primarily involve support, there is also going to be a fair bit of exposure to project work & customer installs.
Essential skills & experience
* A passion for technology and enthusiasm for delivering a first-class service.
* 2 years helpdesk/support experience.
* PSA/RMM exposure (Autotask ideally).
* Work and deliver to SLAs to manage end-user expectations.
* Record, track and document the service desk requests, problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
* Monitor and resolve security-related incidents and problems.
* Engage and work with required 3rd parties to deliver incident and problem resolution.
* On-site support and installation experience preferable.
* Deliver customer-related projects, including procurement, preparation, installation and deployment of assets.
* Engage and work with 3rd Parties to deliver infrastructure-related projects.
* Confident working with customers and stakeholders via phone and email.
* Competent in administrating Microsoft 365 - starters/leavers, passwords, groups admin etc.
* Exposure to Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, AutoPilot, Onboarding devices etc.
* Working knowledge of Networking, Connectivity and VoIP technologies.
* Contribute to technology roadmap and strategic planning.
* Team player.
* Ability to use own initiative.
* Troubleshooting is second nature.
* Integrity, honesty & drive are essential.
* MSP background would be ideal.
* Ideally located within a 30-minute drive of Bordon.
* If you have a special interest in a specific Microsoft product this would be beneficial - i.e. Teams, Azure, Compliance, PowerApps, Endpoint manager. Technical specialists will become a part of our culture.
