Vision for Education
We work with Special Needs schools and alternative provisions across Manchester and Greater Manchester. Our passion is making a positive impact in education. In partnership with local schools, we are proud to introduce our National Teaching Assistant Programme, designed for those aspiring to start a career as a Teaching Assistant.
The Programme
1. Collaborate with client schools to provide successful Unqualified Teaching Assistants with high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience.
2. After a successful interview and upon passing safeguarding and identity checks, we will help secure a paid placement in a school to develop your skills, with ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.
3. Complete a training programme delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders before starting your placement, gaining essential skills for working as a Unqualified Teaching Assistant.
The Role
1. The Unqualified Teaching Assistant plays a vital role in the daily running of schools. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff are essential.
2. Depending on the school, responsibilities include working with the class teacher to manage behaviour, support interventions, and assist children with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities).
3. Assist with recording and reporting pupil progress and behaviour, ensuring children make good progress in the classroom.

Salary depends on experience, training, or qualifications. To be considered for the programme, you should:
