Job Description:
* Accounts Preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies - strong skills and initiative required.
* Bookkeeping/Accounts using Sage, Xero, Excel, and QuickBooks, including preparing, processing, and recording bank transactions, processing purchase, sales, and general ledger entries, and producing reports.
* VAT return preparation from client records and online bookkeeping software.
* Filing, scanning, and general admin duties as part of the bookkeeping and VAT work.
* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts work for clients within set deadlines.
* Corporation tax computation.
* Self-assessment tax return computation – strong skills required.
* Proactively participate in two-way communication regarding bookkeeping and VAT return progress and any issues with clients and managers.
* Any payroll experience will be appreciated.
