About the role
You will act as a strategic advisor to various business units, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making and drive business performance. This role requires a deep understanding of both financial principles and business operations to effectively bridge the gap between finance and other departments.
What you'll do
Performance management
* Monitor and analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
* Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
* Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance against budget and forecasts.
Budgeting and forecasting
* Support the annual budgeting process for assigned business units, ensuring realistic and achievable financial plans.
* Work with business unit leaders in maintaining rolling forecasts to provide an up-to-date financial outlook.
Financial reporting and analysis
* Prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key insights.
* Design standardised management reports, assist in streamlining processes and improve operational efficiency.
* Participate in cross-functional projects and produce projects reports based on request.
Treasury Administration
* Maintain cashflow forecast files and all treasury related documentation.
* Produce all covenants reports to ensure full compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build and maintain strong relationships with business unit leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
