Are you looking to take the next step in your career and contribute to cutting-edge scientific research? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented Scientist to join a dynamic in vivo research team, working on groundbreaking projects in pre-clinical and clinical studies.
The Role
1. Animal care and welfare – primarily working with rodent models
2. Dosing and sample collection in compliance with Home Office PIL regulations
3. Monitoring health and well-being of animal models
4. Designing and conducting in vivo experiments
5. Experience in handling, oral gavage and bleeds
6. Dissection and tissue collection for further laboratory analysis
7. Accurate record-keeping to ensure compliance with Home Office regulations
We’re looking for candidates with:
1. 3+ years of experience in in vivo research
2. Hands-on experience with sample collection, euthanasia and surgery
3. Experience working with in vivo disease models
4. Ability to independently plan and execute experiments
5. Home Office PIL A and C licence
6. Experience in dosing techniques
