About the Role: As a new Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving new business in London, playing a key role in the ambitious growth plans. You'll build meaningful relationships with brokers, introducers and other commercial lenders to originate factoring opportunities. Key job requirements: Network and build strong broker connections and networks. Proactively identify and qualify new leads within the designated territory. Work closely with other regional BDMs to share leads and business opportunities. Develop and present compelling proposals, demonstrating the value of our client’s factoring solutions. Negotiate and close deals, securing new clients and exceeding targets. Build strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support, ensuring their satisfaction. Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activity, identifying new opportunities for growth. Contribute to the development and execution of regional sales strategies. Experience required: A proven track record of success in B2B commercial lending sales, ideally within the factoring or invoice discounting industry. Strong understanding of financial services and the challenges faced by SMEs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly. A confident and persuasive negotiator, comfortable closing deals at all levels. A self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
