Job summary Working 1/7 ICU rota Handover Clerking elective and emergency ICU admissions Discharge summaries/ handover to ward teams The post is for one year and is suitable for a person with UK anaesthetic and ICU experience. We have over 600 admissions a year. The duties of the post will be to provide care for patients working with intensive care medicine. Support for development in areas such as clinical audit and participation in unit research will be offered. The department operates a full shift system and integrates Anaesthetic trainees, Clinical Fellows and Speciality Doctors on 1/7 rota which is EWTD compliant. The rota shift consists of long days, twilight shifts and weekend shifts. There is good senior support on the shop floor and close liaison with the anaesthetic department to ensure continuity of care.
