Join us as a Project Management Officer
What you'll do
It’ll be your responsibility to support and improve the planning and delivery process by collecting and maintaining data in a consistent form. You’ll do this by supporting project governance and control, including tracking the performance and progress of projects, project financial control and adoption. You will support the Senior Responsible Officers and CDIO colleagues across Wealth CDIO projects.
You’ll also promote programme and project management methods and standards and implement good programme and project management practice, and the monitoring of certain programmes or projects.
As well as this, you'll:
* Providing secretariat activities including meeting minutes, input papers, terms of reference and communications to stakeholders
* Establishing and maintaining quality assurance activities for various project deliverables and knowledge management activities, such as maintaining repositories and ensuring compliance to established processes
* Building the reporting of baseline information for the programmes, including RAID, progress and detailed milestones of the programme and change control
* Support in the identification of cross-project dependencies and monitor these
* Support management in the implementation of agreed regular progress reporting mechanisms for all projects
The skills you'll need
You’ll need experience in internal or external project support roles, and knowledge of project types and the project lifecycle.
You'll also need:
* Extensive experience in using tools such as Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and MSP, Planview, Oracle and SharePoint
* Knowledge of our processes, procedures and risk frameworks
* Experience in IT project support
