Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer (On-site in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom)

Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will join a team of Traffic Signals specialists in Oxfordshire. Due to growth, we are expanding our Traffic team in this region.
What you’ll do:
Work alongside experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, fix, maintain, and test Traffic Signals and related electrical equipment in Oxfordshire. Training involves on-the-job learning aimed at achieving an NVQ in Electrical Installations and certifications such as ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Who you are:
Interested in troubleshooting, fixing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, with some exposure to outdoor lighting, CCTV, controllers, detection systems, or telecommunications. Experience from college courses or diplomas is also relevant.
Key Requirements:
* Motivated and eager to learn through on-the-job and online training
* Experience in electrical testing, maintenance, or installation, or relevant educational background
* Problem-solving skills and ability to work through fault-finding instructions
* Full UK Driving Licence and residence in Oxfordshire
* Willing to undertake Drugs & Alcohol testing for compliance
