As a Collections and Delivery Driver for DPD, you will play a crucial role in our operations, serving as the primary point of contact for our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass both the timely collection and delivery of parcels, as well as maintaining the highest standards of customer service.Key responsibilities include:1 Executing daily collection and delivery schedules with precision, typically comprising 50-60 stops within the designated area. 2 Demonstrating exemplary customer service skills during all interactions, recognising that each encounter significantly impacts the company's reputation. 3 Efficiently loading and unloading parcels at the depot, ensuring proper handling and organisation of items. 4 Utilising provided equipment, such as the sack barrow/hand truck, to safely manage heavier items. 5 Adhering strictly to time schedules and route plans to maintain the integrity of our service commitments. 6 Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safety while operating the 7.5 tonne vehicle. 7 Accurately completing all necessary documentation and reporting as required by company protocols. 8 Promptly addressing any challenges or issues that arise during the course of duty, utilising problem-solving skills to ensure minimal disruption to service. This role demands a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of parcel collection and delivery operations.
