Estate Officer Role Purpose: Ensure buildings meet the needs of occupants. Manage facilities, cleaning, and maintenance services. Plan and coordinate installations, works, and refurbishments. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage building structures and fixtures. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Update risk assessments. Oversee building security and staff safety. Maintain equipment and supplies. Collaborate on budget reviews and capital programs. Implement improvements and manage contracts. Arrange room layouts for office moves. Verify completed work and address defects. Manage parking, waste, and security. Supervise evening and duty stewards. Perform analysis and maintain records. Handle facility complaints. Assist in budget management. Manage archives and out-of-hours call-out rota. Requirements: Knowledge of compliance risk assessments and health and safety legislation. Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
